Matters Arising

This artwork presents a drawing of two hawkers engaged in a dialogue about current events and daily matters. This depiction serves as a poignant commentary on the phenomenon of child hawking, which is widely recognized as a form of child labour and abuse, particularly within the context of Nigeria and globally. Despite the societal condemnation of child labour, particularly regarding children who should be attending school, the artwork seeks to highlight the curiosity and & desire for knowledge exhibited by these children, even amidst their challenging circumstances.
