Art Exhibitions and Events for Breast Cancer Awareness: What’s Happening This October

October is an important month as it is a month that celebrates a lot of significant events such as The International Day of The Girl Child, Halloween, Mental Health Awareness etc. However, in today’s blog, we’d be focused on one event that really catches our attention, that is also a big part of the month of October – Breast Cancer Awareness.

In our previous blogs, we touched on the importance of the pink ribbon (which is a very significant symbol with regards the Breast Cancer Awareness) and we also spoke about how art is being used to spread awareness. (Go read the last blogs if you haven’t ! *wink*)

Today, we’d be taking you on a journey around the globe, to show you some specific art spaces in which there would be exhibitions and events dedicated to Breast Cancer Awareness, so pack your bags, your camera’s and maybe a bottle of water, and let’s go to the future !

HOW TO GET INVOLVED

  • Purchase Tickets and Attend Events - It is important to take note of the fact that most of the proceeds of these events are for charitable causes, to help the people who are truly affected by this disease, which is why it is important to support the cause.

  • Spread the Word.

  • Donate if possible.

This October, as you engage with these art exhibitions and events, remember that your participation helps to bring attention to breast cancer and supports those who are fighting the battle. Whether through attending an event, purchasing artwork, or simply spreading the word, every action contributes to the collective effort to fight breast cancer.
