Collection: Ozuma Patrick Chidiebube (Coming Soon)
Ozuma Patrick is a talented Nigerian sculptor, who discovered his passion for art at a young age. Growing up, his creativity flourished as he crafted toy cars, reassembled electronic gadgets, and recreated drawings from comic books and magazines. Despite his natural talent, it wasn’t until his teenage years, under the guidance of a mentor, that he found his true calling in sculpture. Determined to develop his skills, Ozuma pursued a degree in Sculpture to refine his craft and deepen his artistic foundation.
Ozuma’s artistry is deeply rooted in sustainability and a profound exploration of the relationship between technology and human behavior. Using electronic waste, such as discarded keyboards and computer parts, he creates striking sculptures that challenge societal norms and raise awareness about consumerism’s environmental impact. His works are not only a celebration of creative ingenuity but also a commentary on the growing dependence on technology in modern life.
Each of Ozuma’s sculptures tells a story of unity, acceptance, and collective growth, blending personal experiences with narratives drawn from the world around him. In his words "I am the protagonist of my art, half of the story I tell is centered on me, and the rest are stories of people which most times I am a first-hand witness. Most times it is hard to share stories that expose your truth and put your emotions on the line"
Through his art, he aims to inspire connection and introspection, creating pieces that resonate on a deeply emotional level. Ozuma pushes the boundaries of contemporary African art, combining sustainability, innovation, and storytelling in every creation.
